Denim Blue

Denim Blue is a solo artist and songwriter from Bryne, Norway — crafting music at the intersection of indie rock, bedroom pop, and hip hop.

His musical roots run deep in rap and hip hop, drawing early inspiration from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and Outkast. At 17, he picked up his first microphone and started recording in his bedroom every day — and hasn't stopped since. Over time his taste broadened, pulling influence from across genres and shaping a sound that's entirely his own.

After his debut single Diamonds (2021) and dark concept album Blue World, Denim Blue released his most emotionally direct work yet — the six-track EP Vacation Blues (2022).

"It is about struggling to move on, whether from heartbreak, addiction, mental health, or any other personal matter; it is up to you to decide, as the listener. I wanted it to feel familiar, almost like the inner voice that tries to speak up."

While the instrumentals fuel the dopamine that the lyrics lament the lack of, Denim Blue ventures into uncharted emotional territory — asserting that vulnerability should be a source of growth and empowerment, not shame.
